The one business-related tax that you should be aware of may not even apply to your Nevada corporation. Businesses with employees in Nevada pay a .7% quarterly payroll tax. For example, if your quarterly payroll was $25,000.00, your business would pay $175.00 for the quarter. Deductions are allowed for health insurance benefits.
Only businesses that have employees working in Nevada are subject to the tax. If you don't have employees, the tax does not apply. Independent contractors are not considered employees of the company, and are liable for their own tax under the law.
For businesses without employees in Nevada, the tax is simpler to calculate. It is merely $100 per year.
